Is Parking Free on Bank Holidays?

In some cases yes, but it depends on who runs the car park or multi-story car park. Council run car parks are more likely to be free, but it is advised to check with individual councils or car park management companies.

 

Are Doctors Open on Bank Holidays?

Some walk-in centres may be open, but more GPs will be closed. Hospital services such as our of hour GPs and also NHS 111 will still operate as normal as will A&E services.

 

Are Post Offices Open on Bank Holidays?

Most Post Offices will be closed on bank holidays, but you may find that Post Offices based in retail outlets or an Off-licence may have a postal service available. With regards to do postmen work bank holidays, you will find that no post is delivered on bank holidays.

 

Do Charity Shops Open on Bank Holidays?

Yes, some charity shops will be open but it does depend on it’s location. If the charity shop is in a town centre it is more likely to open, but if it is in a shopping mall, the mall itself may be closed.
